This just in: SUVs illegal on most roads!
The Golden State has outlawed big SUVs on many of its roads but doesn't seem to know it. By Andy Bowers
Funny. You never really think about just how heavy most SUVs are, but most big SUVs (think Hummer, Expedition, etc) are well over 6000 lbs. Ever look at those little street signs that have a truck in a big red circle with a slash through it? Notice that they say 'over 6000 lbs'?
