I'm frightened of my countrymen

And suddenly, I come to understand why it is that the current administration doesn't care for the environment. Why it is that they don't mind that there will be no beautiful pristine wilderness left in a few decades at the rate their going.
It's because the Rapture is coming in at most 40 years, so why care about the environment when you and all your 'saved' friends won't be here to see it?
These are people you can't argue with, because their belief overrides all of your logical arguments. These people are sick, demented, and dangerously deluded. And quite frankly, I'm really really frightened of them.
